What is Breast MRI?
Breast MRI is a leading-edge tool for breast cancer screening and diagnosis. This procedure is most often used when results from a diagnostic mammogram or ultrasound are inconclusive. It can also be used to determine the extent of cancer in breast tissue or to assess types of breast cancer less easily detected by other procedures.
This exam uses no radiation and is performed utilizing our state-of-the-art GE Signa 3T MRI machine.
